Do Seniors Really Need Use Outsourcing?

Outsourcing!

That is a term that can send shivers down some marketers’ spines.  There certainly are some horror stories out there about freelancers.

Having said that, there are also some really good people out there that do great work for reasonable prices.  The trick is how to find them.

I have personally had both experiences with freelancers and learned a few things along the way.

I still do most things myself but do use other people for some things.

What is Outsourcing?

For those new to the IM world, outsourcing is the process of delegating some business task to a third party for a fee.

There are many sites that allow you to post your job listing and freelancers will provide you with a quote for the job.

Some Internet Marketers outsource almost all their work, but is this right for you?

Do You Need to Outsource?

Outsourcing costs money.

Many of us seniors are on a fixed income when we start this IM journey and have little disposable income.

If this is the case for you, do NOT outsource.   You will have to learn to do it all yourself.  This is not a bad idea anyway as it is much easier to describe what you want done if you know how to do it.

That’s OK, especially when you are just starting out.

Once you have a steady income from your efforts, you can start thinking about outsourcing.

What Tasks can you Outsource?

Just about anything!

Truly, any task that you can describe in detail that does not require your physical presence can be outsourced.

Graphics, content, website creation, emails, product research… and the list goes on.

You can even hire a virtual assistant!

I have another IM related site that I run and I have a series of articles on Outsourcing there if you would like more information.

Below is a link to the first article in the series.

You Can’t Do Everything by Yourself!
