When will I ever learn….
For some reason I tend to ‘fly by the seat of my pants’. While this may work in some things, it certainly does NOT work when trying to set up an online business.
I was having a devil of a time writing my email series for the Quick Start Challenge. I would write one, maybe two, but then I’d get stuck. Rewrite and then I was stuck again. This went on for a couple of days before I finally thought – perhaps I should plan what I want to say over the series.
DUH!
It took only about an hour to create the overall plan and then to outline all the emails. Only about 2 hours more and I had written the remaining emails.
Plan, plan, plan.
It really is much easier and more productive to plan your work and work your plan.
I think I will make a LARGE SIGN that says this and stick it to the wall over my computer. Maybe then I will remember to plan.
Learn from my mistakes, plan, plan, plan…. and then follow the plan.
Now I am off to the week for training about …. TRAFFIC.
