3 Tips for Driving Traffic to Evergreen Affiliate Offers

3 Tips for Driving Traffic to Evergreen Affiliate Offers

One thing that is important to do is to drive a continuous stream of targeted traffic to your evergreen affiliate offers. These three tips focus on getting traffic and within each tip are ideas for you to use for yourself.

There are many ways to drive traffic but the ones that you should do every single day involve publishing more blog posts, more emails, and sharing all of it on social media. You can’t just share each evergreen offer once, you must share it continuously over time.

The three ways to drive constant sales all involve driving traffic but they also involve sharing content, and within the content you can educate, inform, and motivate your audience to answer your calls to action.

Tip #1: Publish More Blog Posts

A blog post doesn’t have to be only text. You can create content for your blog in a variety of formats.

Also, you don’t want to publish so much that the content becomes poorly written and inaccurate just to get something up. Instead, you want to focus on publishing more content about the evergreen offers from every angle you can to get your audience the word about these offers.

Each offer can be the catalyst for a lot of content. Just think of different ways to approach a topic. For example, you can talk about the problem without mentioning the solution to educate your audience about the problem. You can also make a comparison of several options to solve the problem in which you point them to your choice. Another thing you can do is do a round-up of different solutions.

You can probably do a variety of content including:

  • Courses
  • Tutorials
  • Lists
  • Resources
  • Cheat Sheets
  • Checklists
  • To-do Lists
  • Reviews
  • Infographics
  • Webinars
  • Podcasts
  • Videos
  • Interviews
  • Case Studies
  • Guests Posts
  • Series Posts

You can probably think of many more. If you can make a list of the types of content, you can create and then pick as many as possible to turn the information and content you already have into more – then you’ll never run out of content ideas for your blog. Try to publish every day if you can. If not, just know that the more, the better with one caveat: The content must be relevant and have a goal.

Tip #2: Send Out More Emails

solo emails

Every time you post something to your blog, you need to turn it into an email now. You can do this in a variety of ways, and you should choose more than one way. The reason is that everyone is not going to open the first email you send about a topic. Therefore, you should resend the same thing multiple times, or send the same thing in multiple ways (or both).

You can set up your autoresponder to send out an automatic blast to your email subscribers for every single blog that you publish. That’s one way, and you should do that for every single one of your blogs or email lists if your system also lets you segment your blasts. You don’t want your audience to get recommendations repeatedly to buy something they already bought. However, you do want them to get the information more than once if they have not converted yet.

It might not seem like something you’d consider since they’re already on your list, but a lot of times that’s the only way to get people back to your website reading your content. Another way to get them the information is to copy it verbatim and post it in your email with the CTA just like on the blog post. You can still link to the blog if you want to.

Tip #3: Share on Social Media

social media appsWhen you publish anything anywhere, whether on your site or as a guest, you want to share that on social media. In some cases, you want to share not only the content on your blog but the content you send out in email too. If you make this a habit, to share everything you publish on your blog to email and social, you’ll build your traffic to evergreen offers higher than if you don’t do it.

One way to improve your results with social media is to also pay for promotions of content through ads as well. Ads can help you get a lot more brand awareness and a lot more traffic to your site and your evergreen affiliate offers. Another thing you can do is use software like Hootsuite or Missinglettr to randomly send older blog posts and information about evergreen products to your social media audience.

Talking about the offers more through your content and using tactics such as keywords for SEO, sharing your content in the right places, and paying for ads to get the ideas in front of your audience will all pay off if the content you create is targeted and has a goal associated with it.
